3rd Annual Riverwalk Community Parade

The Astoria Downtown Historic District Association (ADHDA) invites one and all to come join the fun in their 3rd Annual Riverwalk Community Parade on Monday, July 4, 2011. The parade will start at 5pm at the Sunset Empire Transit District parking lot (corner of 9th and Astor Streets in Downtown Astoria) and walk east along the Astoria Riverwalk ending just past the Columbia River Maritime Museum (by the Peacock).

This no cost event is for all businesses, organizations, families and plain folk!! So grab your bike, trike, kid and dog and come join the Astoria Regatta Court, Midsummer Scandinavian Court, Astor Street Opry Company, ADHDA "Kazoo and Bucket Marching Band" and other local organizations as we celebrate our independence! Be sure to decorate it up and wear a costume too! Come walk the Riverwalk in honor of the 4th of July celebration in Downtown Astoria!

Together we can create a vibrant, artistic, fun, and safe atmosphere for all community members to gather, relax and enjoy Astoria's fabulous fireworks display together! For more information visit the ADHDA on Facebook.
